Navigator release: October 19, 2026
The AI Governance Navigator library of October 19, 2026 is live at avancer.co/navigator. This post records what changed; the same record appears on the page under What changed.
What changed
Seventeen entries were added since the September 30 library: nine from the framework gap research (pilot to scale, the scaling roadmap, automation bias and deskilling, the provider-sponsored plan, value-based care and population health algorithms, interoperability and data standards, European Health Data Space Chapter III, AI metrics and monitoring, and post-deployment drift) and eight for the legal contexts (the health law intersection, ownership structures, workforce, transactions and partnerships, cybersecurity and AI as one risk, research and real-world data, insurance and capital markets, and intellectual property and data protection). The library now holds 83 entries.
Every entry carries its references (528 across the library, 469 checked against their URLs on October 19, 2026), a Last verified date, a permalink, and a Suggest a correction link. The methodology and the change log are on the page, and every entry can be printed or saved as a PDF.
Corrections from the reference check: the FDA predetermined change control plan entry, the TREWS sepsis mortality figure, the securities class action count attributed to Cornerstone Research, and several dates.
Two new views: By framework, which places every entry on the twelve branches of the Avancer AI Adoption at Scale framework, and Resources: where to go, a directory of 355 recognized authorities across AI, life sciences, healthcare, pharmacy, laboratories, medical devices, intellectual property, securities law, auditing, insurance, and leadership, each with a description, what it publishes, and where to subscribe.
Where to go this month
Accountancy Europe published AI governance: ten principles for effective board oversight on October 7, 2026. COSO published Corporate Governance: Guiding Principles for Board Oversight on March 31, 2026, following its February 23, 2026 guidance on internal control over generative AI. CMS and CDC opened a request for information on CLIA modernization on July 16, 2026, with artificial intelligence among the topics. All three are in the Resources directory with links.
The library is reviewed monthly against its sources. The next release is expected in early November 2026.
